INSIDE MADPOETIX STUDIOS is revolutionizing our Soirées Intimes Series by allowing the audience to get to know the feature performer through an interview during the show live. The artist will be interviewed by our host Kym Dominique-Ferguson @Mrkdferguson. This is a one of a kind experience. There will be 8 Open Mic spots available for all genres: spoken word, poetry, comedy, singers, clowns, dancers, you name it we welcome it. They are each given a 5 min timeslot. 

 

This month's feature,  Jonathan Émile @jonathanemile_ is a Jamaican Canadian singer, rapper, record producer and a cancer survivor. This grammy nominated artist recently joined the Tuff Gong, the late great Bob Marley's family's label, and released his first album under their label: Spaces In Between in January 2020. No stranger to the Madpoetix stage, he was among the inaugural feature performers in our first year producing Open Mics.
