Flickering Light

Rose auditions for a living. She’s been auditioning for 20 years, and it’s not a very good living. I mean, she does okay: her apartment is cheap and she lives with a roommate; she doesn’t really need a car. Poverty is fine if you keep your expenses low ;) The thing is, now she’s 45. No family, no house, no career. How did it end up this way? How did she end up in her forties and failing?
