Révolté à l'idée d'être cocu, Arnolphe décide d'épouser sa pupille, Agnès, une innocente jeune fille qu'il élève depuis l'âge de 4 ans. Après une enfance passée dans un couvent, Agnès ignore tout de l'amour, de la passion et du désir, elle est ainsi parfaite pour Arnolphe. Lorsque ce dernier quitte la ville pour un voyage d'affaires, la jeune fille se retrouve dans les bras du jeune et brave Horace, fils de l'ami d'Arnolphe. Avec sa réputation et sa masculinité menacé, Arnolphe parviendra-t-il a briser le jeune couple, ou serait-ce Agnès qui réussira à se délier de son éducation rigoureuse?

Revolted at the idea of being cuckolded, Arnolphe decides to marry his pupil, Agnès, an innocent girl he took under his care at the age of 4. After a childhood spent in a convent, Agnès is now completely clueless about feelings of love and desire, in other words, perfect for Arnolphe. However, when the old man leaves town on a business trip, she falls in the arms of the young and handsome Horace, the son of Arnolphe’s friend. With his reputation and manhood now threatened, will Arnolphe be able to break apart the young couple, or will Agnès defy her rigorous schooling and learn about love with Horace?
